Trade Paints is officially 50 years old this year! ... from it's humble beginnings as Battle Decorating Centre back in 1962, Trade Paints was officially registered two years later in 1964.

Trade Paints soon outgrew it's original Battle premises, and name ... and thus in 1964 'Trade Paints Limited' was born. Since that monumentous day several companies liked the name so much they copied it, but we remain the only official 'Trade Paints Limited' in the UK... possibly the world!

Trade Paints moved to Winding St (actually next door to our current depot) in the early 80's (see pic- it's the earliest one we have on file), where it began to grow into the fine beast it is today. For a full write up on our history click here. 

Us Trade Paintians are extremely proud of what we have done- and continue to do. We not only survive but have thrived in these 'troubled times', and continue (we hope) to be a valued part of the community in the process, helping schools, charities, etc whenever we can. 

We are also reminded at times like this of the huge gratitude we owe to You, our trusty and loyal customers/friends. As a genuinely independent family run business (not sure how many businesses can boast that these days) we really do take it personally- and really do appreciate every bit of business you put our way. Thank you! 

We think you'd agree it seems only right to celebrate this great milestone- and thus we will be doing some special '50% Friday' deals- details coming soon.

We have also put together a few events- see below for details. We hope you can make it to one or some of these- or at the very least can come and see us at some point in 2014.

For our part, we look forward to carrying on protecting and brightening up your homes, offices, places of play for another 50 years whilst upholding  the same excellent (if we may say so ourselves) levels of service.
