"What's golf got to do with decorating materials" I hear you ask ... simple answer is both of Trade Paints Directors are hopelessly addicted to the game, and (luckily) a lot of our customers suffer the same infliction. It is therefore no great surprise that we occasionally mix the two.
Our infamous Trade Paints Charity Golf Day has been running for over 10 years, and to date raised somewhere in the region of £50,000 for local causes including St Michaels Hospice and Chestnut Tree House.
Due to popular demand throughout the year we also run a society. See below for more details of both. If interested in taking part or supporting any of this, please use the contact details below toget in touch.

Charity Golf Day
Our Charity Golf Day has become one of the highlights of the TP social calendar. It's a relaxed day, with a definite emphasis on enjoying the game and having a good time. In the process we have so far raised over £50,000 for local charities.
We are very lucky to have several generous suppliers who kindly support the day, from hole prizes to goody bags. This means we can have a prize on every hole (we keep some back as 'charity holes'- the fines can rack up! ; ).
As well as the hole prizes there is also a prize for top individual stableford ... and then there's the much coveted Trade Paints Cup (sum of best 2 stableford out of team of 4). We have a few buggies that go round making sure players are fed and refreshed throughout the round ... and occasionally dishing out fines (spitting, use of mobile, putting drink down on green, etc).
After the round it's back to the club house for a simple meal (as you finish, not a sit down bow-tie affair), followed by prize giving and possibly some more light refreshments.
TP Golf Society
In 2014 we started our very own society, and it's gone from strength to strength, with over 50 members currently signed up. Anyone is welcome to join, simply give us a call or drop us email using the details above. We will be organising 5 to 6 outings a year, from March through to October.
The format is similar to our golf day- simply enjoying good food, company, and hopefully (we can but hope!) some good golf. Trade Paints will organise the days and put up some prizes (longest drive, nearest the pin, overall stableford).
