On the final day of Hastings Old Town week, Sunday 3rd August saw the first ever St Michales 'Colour the Coast' event ... and Trade Paints was very proud to sponsor the sprectacle!
Mother nature blessed us with a gorgeous clear blue sky, and we'd like to think we didn't disappoint point on a show for her. A full capacity crowd turned up to 'run' the 4km from Old Town to Warrior square. The route occasionally went off piste on to the beach, where some kind volunteers pelted us runners with colour powder (different zones having different colours). You can see why it seemed like the perfect event for us to sponsor! : ).
Congratulations to all that entered. organised, helped, and simply encouraged th event- it really was a joy to sponsor and to take part in (team Trade Pants pictured above ... we thought more people would be in fancy dress! ; )... We are already looking forward to 2015's event!
At the time of producing this article, we are not entirely sure how much was raised for the great cause that is St Michaels Hospice- but if smiles and fun were anything to go by it was a rich event. Here's the official YouTube video.
